This is again a painting from my 2018 summer series.
I really don’t want to try and start painting sunset pictures… However I couldn’t resist this. Tried to avoid the black silhouette and incorporate what our eyes actually see. I think maybe for me it represents a balmy night in a proper summer. From a picture taken in my journey home from my studio. 2018 summer I think will go down in UK history… I remember 1976. I was very similar. One to remember! On show at the Macc Art lounge.
Sunset over Adlington

I bought this !
It’s hangs next to a Caspar David Friedrich

Hi Stef. thanks for your email. I’m glad your still enjoying it. I am very flattered to be hanging next to a Casper D Friedrich. Such a great painter! Is it an original? Paul
