Self Portrait - March 2017 I submitted this self portrait for the Sky Arts competition. Alas it was rejected... but apart from this I enjoyed painting it! I learn't a great deal from the process! It lacks emotion and is sterile in it's delivery but sometimes you learn from trying to impress. i.e. you try too hard!
This was my attempt to produce some more commercially biased work. One person commented on the fact that it was like a Jack Vettriano.
