This is the view of the entrance to the Albert Hall on Peter St. (next to Albert Schloss). This building seems virtually hidden but if you go inside it is an amazing space. It was built originally as a Methodist hall in 1908 by the architect William James Morley. It’s now a concert hall which has an ethereal atmosphere. Anyway as you know, I am also a sucker for an awning and I was drawn to the retro lightning on the canopy above. I inadvertently captured the queue of teenage girls waiting to gain entrance to see the band Squid and the two security guards reminded me of ‘Max and Paddy”.
