Continuing my look at iconic buildings of Manchester. Here is my view of St. Peters square with a view of the outgoing tram. I love doing paintings where a small shaft of light pics out a detail. (in this case the tram) The violet of the sky helped punch out the intense yellow and the sun was casting some lovely long horizontal shadows.
