Following on with the theme of iconic Manchester buildings. Here is my first attempt at painting the Midland Hotel. This must be the most painted building in Manchester. The more you observe it through the day the more it changes and delivers such amazing views. Apparently it was one of Hitlers favourite buildings and instructed the Luftwaffe not to bomb it!
