Painting Anastasia in my studio

I painted this nude a few weeks ago but was reluctant to post her as i felt it was a bit wooden in areas. Subsequent ‘likes’ from fellow artists have made me change my opinion although, i think i will revisit this and improve certain areas. It was quite a challenge from me as this is much bigger than I’m used to painting!
The image was taken from a great resource image library for artists i.e. https://www.posespace.com Here for a few dollars, you can choose from a selection of photoshoots of nude models in classical poses some clothed or draped. Each pose is shot on a rotating platform so you can choose the best angle to suit. Plus some different lightning contrasts are also featured.
