This was my first attempt at glazing. Although its sometimes hard to show on screen, this portrait has a nice transparent depth.

The downside is you have to let each layer dry completely. But I enjoyed the experience. I can see now how some of the Great Masters achieved that depth.

I shall use this technique again.
