Current Work

This was a series of still life paintings. Size 6″ x 6″ Oil on board.

I produced these with the help of a shadow box which a built from some old pieces of timber. It basically is a wooden box painted black. The top has a lid with a cut out rectangular hole that a allows a low voltage light projecting down on the fruit. The advantage is that you can create a very moody light that creates some very dramatic lighting.
